This blog has been created to hear testimonies, stories, and personal interactions with construction sites on SUNY Cortland's campus. Students are late for class due to the construction, it has disrupted sleep patterns, and is even affecting breathing in some buildings. Please tell your story by adding a comment to this post.

When I wake up in the morning it is not a choice, it is because of loud noises outside my window. I am a junior living in Glass Tower and my window is very close to the remodeling that is taking place on Fitzgerald Hall.
ReplyDeleteThis causes me to change the hours I sleep and I am sometimes late to class because of this. It is very frustrating to have this stressor added to my life which is already very difficult because I am a full time student, taking 18 credit hours, and am working part time as well.
I wish the school would postpone construction for two weeks so all the students on campus can study for finals and get enough sleep for class and the tests they will be taking soon. This really sucks.
I hate construction on campus. I hate driving and being stopped because a guy is holding a flag in the middle of the road.
